Uganda Hands for Hope Computer Lab

In an effort to expand our services to the youth of Namuwongo we opened a computer lab in March 2010. Through the generous donation of an Irish organisation called Camara we received six refurbished computers which all come with educational software already installed on them.

It is our hope that with the software on the computers, the children will be able to sharpen their mathematics and reading skills while also learning the basics of how to use a computer, such as operating a mouse and typing on the keyboard. Our computer lab will be a vital tool in providing youth with resources and learning opportunities that many schools in Uganda do not yet have.
