Missionaries of the Poor

The Missionaries of the Poor seek to address the needs of some of Kampala's poorest people. Their 'Good Sheppard Home' focuses on caring for homeless street children, as well as for people with disabilities and/or sickness. Uganda Hands for Hope provided the Missionaries of the Poor with funding toward many of their programmes, including three sewing machines for women's income generation, school fees and supplies for a number of children, and necessary medicine for their clinic.
