Refugee Heritage Photo Project
In February 2010, Uganda Hands for Hope hosted and supported the Refugee Heritage Photo Project, a dual workshop teaching photography to refugee children in Kampala and London. Linking with schools in London, which will run the same workshops later this year, children learn how to operate small cameras and how to create a photo-story. Five children were selected through Hands for Hope and St. Barnabas School and handed small digital cameras to take home and record stories about their families.
